SXSW 2012: Music With You!

One of the cool things about traveling with technology is that it allows me to stay connected across a ton of platforms, and this year I’m using Spotify to develop constantly growing music playlists to entertain us on our trip to Nashville and Austin for SXSW. These playlists are “Collaborative,” so if you have Spotify, you can simply drag your favorite suggestions into any of the lists below. If you don’t have Spotify and want to play along, it’s free and very easy to set up with a Facebook account. I’ve made eight playlists to cover all spectrums and genres. All I ask is that you do two things if you want to throw music on for me to enjoy: (a) try to keep it as genre specific as possible – indie goes in indie, pop in pop, etc. and (b) these lists may get very long because of Jared’s readership, so try to quickly peruse the playlist and make sure you’re not throwing in too many duplicates. Otherwise, I appreciate your help in keeping me entertained, and I hope you give the playlists a spin as well…maybe we can all find some good new tunes!
